Suzuki Kizashi 3 video
Last March at the New york Autoshow, Suzuki introduced the Kizashi 3 concept car. To help the physical model, they also had a video entirely in 3D. It’s not a movie per se, but it’s interesting nonetheless, and gives us a sense of things to come. Computer generated animations have made tremendous improvements for the past decades and will keep doing so. The cost, the amount of time and people to make them has also drop. In the case of the present video, you can tell... Read More
Disney/Pixar officially announce Cars 2 for 2012
digg_url = 'WEBSITE_URL'; I don’t know for you, but for us, despite being an animated movie, Cars ranks among our cult car movies. The quality of the animation, the depth of the details, the quirky ideas, it all comes together beautifully. Personally, I really liked the enormous amount of research behind it and how they manage to show so much about the car culture, and they did it in such a great manner that the movie is enjoyable for the hardcore car freak, as well as... Smart car to be the next A-Team van?
Yesterday, we told you about the A-Team movie, scheduled for 2009. So when we found this lovely Smart car, we thought the producers had blown a fuse. Don’t worry too much though. Turned out it’s just the job of a dedicated (and talented) fan. Look at the details: the rims, the paint (with the right black-red-grey scheme), the roof spoiler…. It’s perfect! digg_url = 'http://carsplusmovies.com/2008/04/02/watch-kitt-every-wednesday-in-the-fall/'; After getting the news that the new Knight Rider was getting its own weekly show yesterday, we were keeping an eye on Variety, NBC and others to to see if the show would get a good slot in the Peacock’s schedule. Well, it didn’t get the best one, but Wednesdays at 8/7c is not too shabby either. Improvement in sight NBC has hired an experienced showrunner for the series, Gary... Read More
Sunday Ads: Michael Bay special
It’s a Michael Bay kind of Sunday today, with commercials shot by Hollywood’s explosion specialist (and we’re not talking about Transformers, just real TV commercials). We’ll show you a little retrospective of his TV ads and movie career We started with Car Carrier, the one he directed in 2004 for Chevy which, even if it doesn’t feature any robots, shares a lot of visual clues with Transformers. The vehicles seem to be unmanned, the chase, the angles,... Read More

The first one was linked to Transformers, with Megan Fox (read our previous article: Megan Fox hearts Pontiac), while the second one, entirely in black and white (except for the Pontiac logo) seems to be inspired by the movies Sin City (2005) and Renaissance (2006). Sin City by Robert Rodriguez & Frank... Read More
