Thankfully, Hyundai, Audi and Bridgestone gave us some good commercial to talk about and share with friends. The Chase Let start with Audi, who used their longtime association... Read More

digg_url = 'http://carsplusmovies.com/2008/05/21/vehicles-indiana-jones-4-kingdom-of-the-crystal-skull';If you notice a lot of motorcycle action in the trailer below, that’s normal: Harley Davidson scored a big product placement deal with the production and we will talk more about the deal in another post. But as often with Indy, some great vehicles will be used by the different protagonists, including the Ford GPA (or is it its russian version, the GAZ 69?), the weird-looking... Read More

Sunday Ads: Michael Bay special

We’ll show you a little retrospective of his TV ads and movie career We started with Car Carrier, the one he directed in 2004 for Chevy which, even if it doesn’t feature any robots, shares a lot of visual clues with Transformers. The vehicles seem to be unmanned, the chase, the angles,... Read More
Ronin: the car chase in Nice
This has to be one of the most breathtaking car chase ever filmed. The bumper cameras really ad a high dose of adrenalin to it and there’s almost no music (which reminds of Bullitt), allowing the viewer to hear the engines pushed to the max. According to the Internet Movie Car Database, the main cars involved in the chase are a 1998 Audi S8 D2, a 1976 Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL 6.9 [W116], a 1990 Citroën XM, 1996 Peugeot 406 and a 1996 Peugeot 605. Ronin, a John Frankenheimer... Read More
Wanted (2008) 2nd trailer
As we told you before, Wanted is on our watch list for 2008. And that’s not really for Angelina, but more for the promising car chases and some unique stunts. There’s a bit of The Matrix in it (controlling reality through mind power, some visuals) but it’s based on an original graphic novel by J.G. Jones and Mark Millar. Besides those great stunts, is it going to be worth watching? Verdict on June 27th, when it hits the theatres in the US. Watch the trailers... Read More
