Well, you would come up with the sQuba, a heavily modified Lotus Elise, capable of diving under water. With no damage whatsoever to the car itself that is. Dream car “…demonstrated impressively... Read More

Sunday ads: Pontiac, Sin City & Renaissance style

digg_url = 'http://carsplusmovies.com/2008/02/10/sunday-ads-pontiac-sin-city/'; As you can tell, today is Pontiac day, with two commercials relying on recent movies. The first one was linked to Transformers, with Megan Fox (read our previous article: Megan Fox hearts Pontiac), while the second one, entirely in black and white (except for the Pontiac logo) seems to be inspired by the movies Sin City (2005) and Renaissance (2006). Sin City by Robert Rodriguez & Frank... Read More

The future Impreza from Fast and Furious 4 (2009)

Before we start, one note about the title: we don’t know it yet, but someone on Imdb proposed the title 4 the Fast, 4 the Furious and we like it here. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker will return as Dominic Toretto and Brian O’Conner in 2009, and Exhaust Note released pictures of what it supposed to be Brian’s ride. As you can see it’s in the works, but it gives a pretty good idea of the car. A little overdone for our taste, but the trade mark of the franchise... Read More

Not because of Angelina Jolie, but because it looks promising for car scenes with some unique interaction of the characters vehicles: pay attention to the way Angelina enters the Viper when the latter is spinning. It looks like a sort of a reverse Parkour trick (the character doesn’t... Read More

In its remake of the famous “horse head” scene from The Godfather, the R8 is the hitman who just made the old mogul an offer he can not... Read More

digg_url = \\\\\\\'http://carsplusmovies.com/2008/02/03/sunday-ads-bridgestone-08-super-bowl-commercial/\\\\\\\';Bridgestone had an amazingly funny commercial. Even though we first thought it was for Saab, it’s works great and it seems to be this year’s favorite Super Bowl ad on the web right now, with the E*Trade baby. Update: the other Bridgestone commercial (the creepy one with Alice cooper) “Unexpected Obstacles”  Read More
