Sunday Ads: insane “Grace Jones” Citroen commercial
Back in the 80’s, when ad creators were tanned yuppies high on cocaine, they came up with that ad for the Citroen CX. The concept is pretty simple and totally normal and realistic: Grace Jones, at the time fresh out of James Bond and riding the charts with her songs, is seen driving the CX after a giant replica of her head spat it out. That’s precious. Who would dare proposing that to a client nowadays? Gotta love the 80’s…
