That’s what we thought. In that case, it’s still time to get your hands on the original Dodge Charger used during the opening credit of the Dukes of Hazzard, and patiently restored to its original condition by
General Lee Enterprises. In 2009, it will be exactly 30 years old and become even more pricey (the price isn’t up, but we assume it’s pretty high). The car is -without a doubt- already a celebrity, but on top of that the ad in the
duPont Registry mentions that it’s been voted #1 most influential hot rod of all time by Hot Rod Magazine and it’s also been featured on Spike TV’s PowerBlockTV. So we’re talking about a superstar, not a mere celeb.
Surprisingly enough, it hasn’t found a new owner since February 22nd, but now that it’s been published in the April issue of the Registry, it won’t be long.
If you have deep pockets, hurry up. And if, like us, you can’t afford it…they have a two-discs DVD set of the restoration for sale ($45 including worldwide shipping)!
