Here’s a little sum-up of what can be remembered that was interesting for our subject matter (which is cars and movies for those who were not paying attention).
The winners
-
Best Motion Picture of the Year
-
Best Achievement in Directing (Joel and Ethan Coen)
- Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role (Javier Bardem)
- Best Adpated Screenplay (Joel and Ethan Coen).
That’s all great and we sure can appreciate it but, as car geeks, we want to point out some great car scenes and explosions. Watch the trailer below.
-
Best Achievement in Sound Editing
- Best Achievement in Sound Mixing.
Those shattering windows and wrenching car bodies sounded great indeed.
We do agree that they were great, especially on the animals and daemon, but the vehicle (that we covered previously) looked a little fake, mainly because they were too clean.
You can expect our own awards very soon…
Watch the trailers after the jump!
