Not too long ago we spotted a replica of Eleanor, the car from the remake of Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000) and we told you all about it in a
previous article. When looking for reference pictures, we came across the creations of Thalon Design, a design and prototyping studio based in Stockholm.
These crazy Swedes have already recreated the Batmobile from Batman Returns, KITT from the original Knight Rider, Eleanor itself along with it’s updated version based on a 2005 Mustang and, last but not least, they’ve created a kit to turn a basic Smart ForTwo into Eleanor. On top of being very skilled, they have good taste when it comes to choosing the models for the photoshoots and also display a great sense of humor (the Eleanor Smart is dubbed the GT 50%, and was presented in a toy package at its first autoshow).
