Years before Transformers was released (maybe even before the project started), French car manufacturer Citroën blew people’s mind with a TV commercial showing their new model, the C4, transforming into a robot and break dancing before peacefully returning to it’s parking spot. We have no proof that Michael Bay decided to launch his blockbuster plan after seeing them, but it would surely make sense. It certainly showed that the technology to bring the Transformers cartoons to life was available. Next step to find out: watch the Transformers Bonus DVD to find out more. We’ll keep you posted.
